The shelter manager is responsible for maintaining a compassionate and humane feline-centric shelter following the "Guidelines for Standards of Care in Animal Shelters." This includes providing oversight of the intensive care unit and the general feline population. The shelter manager will also oversee feline health, manage all intakes within the capacity for care, ensure fosters are well supported, ensure safety and sanitation protocols are met, and promote life-saving programs designed to retain animals in their homes, including the food bank.
Applicants should have at least two years of experience in an animal shelter, veterinary clinic, or similar environment and a working knowledge of feline health, including illness, disease, and treatments.
