ABOUT MISSOULA INTERFAITH COLLABORATIVE
Founded in 2011, MIC is a diverse alliance of 35+ faith institutions and community organizations who come together to pool resources and build collective power to address the most pressing needs of the community. Using broad based community organizing methods, we challenge the community to tackle issues, train leaders from everyday citizens, and work collectively to improve the world we live in. In addition to our community organizing efforts, MIC also responds to Missoula’s direct service needs running a 24-hour emergency housing program- Family Promise, a system of advocates who are everyday people who walk alongside and support people experiencing homelessness in their housing search- Housing Advocate Network, and Missoula’s only supportive staffing agency- Missoula Works.

As the Missoula Works Project Manager for the Get It Done Crew, your responsibility will be to manage and coordinate landscape and lawn projects as well as junk outs and other odd jobs in the Missoula Area. We are expecting you to have a solid experience in lawn maintenance, outstanding leadership skills and the ability to make decisions in complex situations. The Project Manager is responsible for dealing directly with customers and oversight of the Get it Done Crew and managing all projects. Get It Done serves as an employee incubator to develop trained and professional employees for the Missoula business industry. Get It Done prides itself on personal/professional development and safety in the field while providing excellent customer service.

Reports to: Director of Missoula Works

Position details: Full-time, hourly range $22-26. Non-exempt, non-union position. Benefits include HRA reimbursement and generous PTO and holiday pay.

Job Duties:
• Plan, implement and manage lawn and snow maintenance and other projects in accordance with priorities and goals
• Produce employee and project schedules
• Work closely with the Crew Leaders
• Manage and monitor employee attendance and work
• Adhere to relevant safety regulations
• Manage and guide the use of machinery and equipment
• Monitor expenditures and keep budget in check
• Peacefully resolve any emerging personnel problems and issues
• Allocate and delegate responsibilities
• Supervise, train, and give feedback to workers
• Prepare and present progress to staff
• Coordinate off site trainings for GID crew

Required Experience
• 3 years in lawn or construction management
• A clean driving record

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Good knowledge of lawn and snow removal equipment and operations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Critical-thinker and problem-solver

Physical Demands, Environmental Work Conditions, Equipment
Physical demands include sitting, keyboarding, and mouse use for extended periods. Standing for long periods and bending. Equipment use includes driving company vehicle, office equipment including monitor, keyboard, and phone, lawn maintenance equipment, snow removal equipment. Must be physically able to stand and able to bend for long durations and lift 50+ pounds.
