Early Childhood Teacher

Mountain Home is seeking a full-time Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) for its childcare program who can accommodate a flexible schedule (for more details see below). The ECT is responsible for providing direct care to infants and toddlers ages 0-3 that is nurturing, developmentally appropriate, sensitive, and trauma-informed. The ECT meets the physical and emotional needs of infants and toddlers through purposeful interactions and play, and maintains an enriching environment that promotes children's all-around development and changing needs.

The hired individual will work 36-40 hours/week. The schedule will be Monday - Friday between 7:30am and 5:30pm. The start and end times for shifts may change from week to week depending on the need. Each week’s schedule will be confirmed and communicated with the hired individual at least one week in advance whenever possible. This position reports to the Childcare Manager and does not supervisor others. It’s based onsite at Mountain Home in Missoula, Montana. This role does not require travel. The base hourly wage for this position is $17 with the hired individual’s wage calculated using Mountain Home’s wage matrix.
